The academic expertise is complemented by the industrial relevance of our Tier 1 members, most of them globally recognised companies and end-users of NDE technology, and the strategic knowledge of our Tier 2 members, who fulfil national objectives for steering and supporting the NDE research and technology translation. Together, they have an excellent understanding of the overall underlying challenges for NDE technologies as well as their respective sectors particularities. The NDE supply chain, represented through RCNDE associate members, is a vital element for successfully transferring technological advances arising from university research to their eventual practical application in industry.
