What are cookies?
Cookies are small files stored in your web browser to help the website interact with you. Without cookies, every time you visit a new page the website thinks you are a new visitor. This would mean for example shopping baskets would empty each time you clicked onto a new page. If you would like to read more about cookies in general, Wikipedia has a detailed article.
What if I do not want cookies stored on my browser?
You can block cookies via your web browser. You can find out specific instructions for your browser via Google. Please note blocking cookies can result in unexpected results when using a website.
What cookies do you store on my browser?
Details of the cookies we use on this site are listed below:
A cookie to retain your username to make it easier to log into our management system.
Cookies that store click ids for clicks that have come from our marketing sources.
Cookies left by Google’s Analytics software which helps us monitor traffic levels on our website
Occasionally the way third-party add-ons store cookies change. Because of this, the list above may not always contain an exhaustive list of the cookies which are saved. We do regularly audit the cookies stored as a result of visiting our website.
Other Cookies Information
A cookie is a very small text file that a Web site saves to your device’s hard disk to store information that you provide about yourself or to store your preferences. If you visit the website again, it is recognized as a repeat visit by means of the cookie. The cookie contains merely a unique number and therefore no personal data. The cookie cannot be used to identify you on websites of third parties.
Our third-party advertising partner employs a software technology called clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons), which help us better manage content on our site by informing us what content is effective. Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of Web users. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a user’s device hard drive, clear gifs are embedded invisibly on Web pages. We do not tie the information gathered by clear gifs to our customers’ personally identifiable information.
RCNDE uses website performance cookies (via Google Analytics and Hotjar.com; to review their Privacy Policies) to analyse traffic information such as the pages you visit, the time you spend on the site. These cookies are anonymous, and we do not have a database of individual profiles for each visitor. The information collected using these cookies cannot track your browsing activity on other websites.
RCNDE also uses tracking pixels to measure visits to the site from one particular source (e.g. a specific banner or email campaign) and the response rates from these sources. These tracking pixels will not collect your browsing history and are used for website and traffic source performance purposes only.
We use these services in order to increase the efficiency of our websites.
RCNDE and some of our business partners (e.g., advertisers) place cookies via our site. We have no access to or control over these cookies.
These cookies are used to share your audience segments with third parties (advertisers, publishers or social networks) to make adverts more relevant to you. Audience segments are a pool of users that have been grouped together based upon previous web browsing behaviour and lifestyle and demographic profiles. By allowing these cookies, you are more likely to get relevant adverts while you visit other sites. Preventing these cookies will not stop adverts but they will be less tailored to your interests.
RCNDE currently allows the organisations listed below (besides itself) to place targeting cookies:

Please note that if you delete, block or otherwise restrict cookies, or if you use a different device or Internet browser, you may need to renew your opt-out choice. Alternatively, you can also delete these cookies directly within your browser options.
We also drop retargeting cookies. We currently allow.
