The EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Future Innovations in Non-Destructive Evaluation (FIND-CDT) offers both PhD and EngD training to the next generation of NDE engineers, and is managed by a consortium of six of RCNDE’s university partners. For RCNDE industry members, the Centre offers unparalleled access to world-class talent at a discounted rate. For students, it offers exciting opportunities for collaborative industry-university research in advanced sensor and imaging technology, launching outstanding graduates into an engineering career.

The EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Quantitative NDE is the FIND-CDT precursor and it is currently hosting its last cohort of students, all of them in their 4th year and about to graduate. So far 66 EngD/PhD students from all cohorts,
including previous EngD centres, have graduated and most of them are working in NDE related positions.
Many past CDT graduates are current collaborators of RCNDE and are the best examples and advocates of doctoral training as a method of effective technology transfer into industry.
